What is the Duck Draw?

Since 2016, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been making a splash—racing ducks across the water to raise funds for our award-winning mentoring programs serving kids all over Central Georgia.

But this year… our ducks are doing something different.

They’re trading the racecourse for a chill pool scene this fall!

How many ducks are available for adoption?

We limit adoptions to 5,000 ducks.

Is there a deadline to adopt ducks?

Ducks adopted online by midnight the day before the race will be entered.

Do I need to be present to win?

No! You are welcome to watch the races on Facebook Live. Winners will be contacted by email and phone.

Are these real ducks? Do I get to bring a duck home?

Sorry, they can’t come home — they’re plastic. These ducks are strictly ornamental and frankly, a little full of themselves. They train at our office all year for their big annual splash, and they're all about that pond-life fame. No waddling off-script, no emotional attachments — just highly disciplined, buoyant professionals.
