2026 GRPS Turkey Trot

The Grand Rapids Public Schools and GRPS Foundation are excited to host the 34th Annual Grand Rapids Turkey Trot, presented by Blue Care Network of Michigan.

This family-friendly 5k on Thanksgiving Day supports over 5,000 GRPS student-athletes and draws more than 6,500 participants annually.

The morning begins at 8:00 am with the newly added 10k run, followed by the LMCU Mini-Trot for kids 12 and under at 8:10. The 5k run/walk will kickoff shortly after at 8:30 am and the new 1 mile walk will round us out at 8:40! All races will start and finish at the Van Andel Arena. A virtual option is also available.

The event promotes wellness, GRPS programs, and community, while offering sponsors strong visibility across the greater Grand Rapids area. Join us in making this well-loved tradition a success!
