2026 GRPS Turkey Trot

The Grand Rapids Public Schools and GRPS Foundation are excited to host the 34th Annual Grand Rapids Turkey Trot, presented by Blue Care Network of Michigan.

This family-friendly 5k on Thanksgiving Day supports over 4,000 GRPS student-athletes and draws more than 6,000 participants annually.

The morning begins at 8:10 am with the LMCU Mini-Trot for kids 12 and under, followed by the 5k run/walk at 8:30 am and finishes at the Van Andel Arena. A virtual option is also available.

The event promotes wellness, GRPS programs, and community, while offering sponsors strong visibility across the greater Grand Rapids area. Join us in making this well-loved tradition a success!
