We invite you to join us for a traditional Pancake Breakfast prepared by Scouts, Parents and alumni of Troop 719 and Troop 310G! For your convenience, we will also provide an option for take-out or pick up where our Scouts will assist you with your breakfasts to-go.

Please support this annual joint Troop 719 and Troop 310G fundraiser and community event by purchasing Pancake Breakfast tickets and making a donation to support our Scouting program that we execute through our core backpacking and high adventure scouting activities! Your action to purchase Pancake Breakfasts (donation $10 per plate) and/or make a general or sponsorship (click here for sponsor category descriptions) donation will go a long way toward helping our Scouts prepare for our 2026 long term in the High Sierras through the Ansel Adams and Desolation Wilderness along with our other Scouting activities.

HOW YOUR SUPPORT HELPED TROOP 719 AND TROOP 310G IN 2025….

Thank you to all of our troop family and friends who supported us in 2025 at our Pancake Breakfast and Golf Tournament! With your support, our Scouts were able to experience a memorable Scouting year that included weekend backpacking trips in the Angeles National Forest, Mission Creek Nature Preserve, and the San Jacinto and San Gorgonio Wilderness. We also held a family camp at Leo Carrillo State Park and went to Summer camp at Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Valley. The highlight of the year for our Scouts was their High Sierra Long Term treks of over 40 miles into the Desolation Wilderness near Lake Tahoe (Troop 719) and nearly 25 miles in Ansel Adams Wilderness behind Mammoth Lakes (Troop 310G). On the trail for up to 7 days and 6 nights our Scouts backpacked with their patrols along the Tahoe Rim and Sierra Crest where we crossed passes of over 10,000 ft, peaked Mt. Tallac and Ralston Peak, fished in streams and lakes and enjoyed the dramatic scenery above South Lake Tahoe and along the Minarets. For the first time in early July, a crew of five Scouts and three adults traveled to the Northern Tier High Adventure Base at Atikokan, Ontario (Canada) and over 9 days completed a 65 mile canoe trek in Quetico Provincial Park. In the fall we closed out our hiking season with our traditional Rock Climbing weekend at Joshua Tree National Park. The Scout leaders of Troop 719 and 310G continued to build upon the inter-troop collaboration that has become a reimagined Invitational Field Day (IFD). We returned to the traditional 2 night IFD format with six troops for this now Scout planned and led event at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center.

In 2025 we were all thrilled that Troop 310G reached an important milestone, proudly welcoming their first two Eagle Scouts into the nest! In March 2025 Troop 719 proudly honored the achievements of six Eagle Scouts from the Eagle class of 2024 at our Eagle Court of Honor held at the Gardena Valley Baptist Church. We look forward to honoring five additional Eagle Scouts from the Eagle Class of 2025 at our upcoming Eagle Court of Honor in March that will be held for the first time at our charter organization, Faith United Methodist Church.

Our Scouts also continued to support their community by assisting with food drives, toy drives, Harvest Festival, helping Scout families affected by the Palisades and Altadena fires, local families during Thanksgiving and other community events. Together with Troop 310G we also were happy to continue our troop’s annual tradition of honoring the memory of service members on Memorial Day at Green Hills Memorial Park and VFW Post 1961.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026….

This year, in addition to our traditional Scouting activities, Troop 719 and 310G will be returning to the Sierra Nevada mountain range for our Long Term treks where Troop 719 will hike about 50 miles across sections of the John Muir Trail in the Ansel Adams Wilderness near Mammoth Lakes as Troop 310G will trek through the Desolation Wilderness near Lake Tahoe where we’re looking forward to challenging routes, scenery, fishing and perhaps climb a peak or two. We also are looking forward to several new Eagles landing in our nest!

Troop 719 and Troop 310G stays strong and will continue to thrive because of the help and support from you and our community.
