Rubber Tramp Rendezvous (RTR)

The Rubber Tramp Rendezvous, or “RTR” is Homes On Wheels Alliance’s largest annual gathering of nomads, travelers, and those seeking a simpler, more sustainable life on the road. For more than a decade, this free event has brought together thousands of people from across the country to learn the skills, confidence, and community needed to thrive while living in a vehicle.

From solar power and boondocking basics to vehicle maintenance and safety, attendees gain practical knowledge to live safely and sustainably, all while forming lasting friendships and a deep sense of belonging.

The RTR is completely free to attend, but the cost to host it is significant. Donations help Homes On Wheels Alliance cover essential expenses like permits, sound equipment, event coordination, safety supplies, and educational materials, keeping this life-changing gathering accessible to everyone, regardless of income.
