Join us for our 5th Annual Janet "Ms. K" Kendrick Sisters of the Center Awards Brunch! This annual event is named in loving memory of the late Janet Kendrick (1941-2008), or "Ms. K" as she was affectionately known, CCC's former longtime Executive Director who suddenly passed away on July 14, 2008. The Ms. K Brunch celebrates women leaders who have positively impacted CCC and Cambridge, serving as the annual event to bestow the Janet "Ms. K" Kendrick Sisters of the Center Award.

This year's recipients of the Janet "Ms. K" Kendrick Sisters of the Center Award will be longtime CCC volunteer and supporter, Rosey Massey, and State Representative Marjorie Decker.

Come celebrate and honor the incredible achievements of the extraordinary women in our community. It promises to be a memorable day filled with joy, empowerment, and sisterhood. We look forward to seeing you at our 5th Annual Janet "Ms. K" Kendrick Sisters of the Center Awards Brunch!

What time will the doors open for the event?

Doors will open at 11AM. Our all-you-can-eat brunch buffet will be served right at 11AM and the speaking program will begin at noon.

What will the food options be at the event?

All attendees will be treated to a full brunch service generously provided by our friends at Summer Shack. While the menu has not been finalized yet, buffet options in the past have included items such as scrambled eggs, french toast, sausage, bacon, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and salad.

Is there a dress code for this event?

Is the event space handicap accessible?

Yes, our gymnasium is handicap accessible through our ground-level entrance on Howard Street. If you or anyone in your party requires additional accommodations, please email us at info@cambridgecc.org.

Will there be assigned seating at this event?

No, with a few exceptions for awardees and sponsors, seating is open and will be on a first come, first served basis.

Is there designated parking for this event?

Street parking in our neighborhood will be permitted for all attendees. The City of Cambridge will not be issuing parking tickets in our neighborhood during the event.
