This conference is designed for communities interested in opening a seed library or have recently opened. We’ll feature three speakers, each sharing a 20-minute talk followed by 10 minutes of Q&A. 🎙These presentations will be recorded.

We’ll conclude with 30 minutes of small-group breakout conversations where participants can discuss their specific situations and learn from one another. Breakout sessions will not be recorded to support open and relaxed discussion.

For well-established seed libraries, we will be offering 2 other conferences later in the year on how to maintain a seed library, special projects, and climate adaptation.

Growing up in Québec in the 80's and 90's, Marie-ève was surrounded by beautiful gardens and indoor plants, thanks to her mother's passion for gardening. It was around 2012 that her appreciation for the natural world added function to beauty, when she started growing a small edible garden in her yard in Squamish, BC. Wanting to learn more, she then completed a 16 month permaculture design course in 2017. Shortly after that, she started working for the Squamish Climate Action Network as seed library manager and greenhouse manager at a local elementary school. Her love for seeds and plants has only gotten bigger with every year that has since passed.
