🎃 Help Us Make Halloween Extra Sweet! 🍬

Join us this Saturday, October 24, at Washington High School for the Saving Us Trunk or Treat!

We’ll be handing out treats, admiring creative costumes, and sharing plenty of Halloween fun with children and families from our community. Bring your kids, bring your smiles, and come enjoy the festivities with us!

👻 Want to help spread the Halloween cheer?

We’re looking for two volunteers to join us for an hour of fun! You can help from 1–2 p.m. or 2–3 p.m. Email ASJ at asj.blm.cr@gmail.com or text 319-530-7838 to volunteer.

🍭 Can’t make it? You can still make a difference!

We’re seeking donations to help cover the cost of Halloween treats for the hundreds of children and families expected to attend. Every contribution helps us share a little more joy and make sure every child can join in the fun!

Any donations beyond the cost of the treats will go directly to Saving Us, an organization dedicated to youth and community well-being through violence prevention, mindfulness, movement, clothing giveaways, community-building events, and resources for families in need—all at NO COST to participants. As Saving Us reminds us: “It takes a village to raise a family! We’re the family and the village.” ❤️

Let’s show up for our village! Whether you donate, volunteer, or stop by to celebrate, you can help make this Halloween a little brighter for our community.

Thank you for helping us turn treats into an act of community care! 🧡🎃
