Domestic violence is often thought of as something that happens somewhere else, to someone else. The truth is, it happens here in Marin, in every kind of neighborhood and community.

Behind familiar front doors, people may be living with fear, isolation, and uncertainty. They may be wondering whether anyone will believe them, where they can turn, or whether help is even available.

At Center for Domestic Peace, the answer is simple: yes, help is here.

Every day, people in our community find safety, understanding, and a path forward. They are met with compassion, listened to without judgment, and connected to the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

These life-changing services depend on the strength of our community. As public funding becomes increasingly uncertain, private support is essential to ensuring that anyone seeking safety can find it.

Your generosity helps keep hotlines answered, shelter available, counseling accessible, and hope within reach. Because of you, a neighbor, friend, coworker, or family member facing abuse can find support, safety, and a way forward.

Because it happens here. And together, we can ensure help is here, too.
