Got Y'er Back was founded by Cole Dustin and his mother, Debra Netschert, in 2020 with the goal of providing tangible support to young people and their education. Since then, we have partnered with several organizations and engaged students from various schools to help raise funds to pack and distribute nearly 2,700 backpacks filled with essential school supplies. All funds raised from our campaigns go directly toward purchasing backpacks and school supplies.

Got Y'er Back collaborates with students across New Jersey to build fundraising teams, fostering service-oriented youth who are committed to helping those less fortunate. Last year, our team packed and distributed a total of 725 backpacks thanks to our incredible supporters and the remarkable efforts of the boys in the Class of 2028. They worked tirelessly to fundraise, pack, and distribute backpacks to every student at Bonnie Brae and The Neighborhood House. They have also supported children through Mantegna Global, and at several shelters in Newark, NJ and multiple public schools throughout New Jersey.

Over the past three years, the Class of 2028 has raised over $70,000 and helped supply backpacks to 1,900 children in need. Our current goal is to fill backpacks with school supplies and other essentials for all students at Bonnie Brae, a residential school for youth in crisis, and The Neighborhood House in Morristown, which provides resources for those in need in Morris County. Any remaining funds will be used to supply backpacks to students in other communities throughout New Jersey.
