21 years ago, as financial viability of our organization was at risk, Cell to Well was established as our signature fundraising event and represents the journey that many take from the local county jail to recovery.

South Davis Recovery Club, formerly The Backstreet Club, has been serving Davis County for the past 24 years. Each week, hundreds of people experiencing the impact of various addictions and alcoholism attend 12 step meetings housed at our club located in Bountiful, Utah. Meetings hosted at this location include: Alcoholic Anonymous (AA), Al-Anon, Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Sex Addicts Anonymous (SA), Young People in Recovery, Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and all fellowship meetings open to anyone impacted by addiction/alcoholism.

In addition to 12 step meetings, South Davis Recovery Club hosts weekly game nights, monthly BINGO nights, holiday parties for Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas and New Years as well as other family friendly events that support those seeking a sober community.

Membership at South Davis Recovery Club is anonymous, yet represents a fellowship of those who have recovered from the hopeless state of active addiction and alcoholism. It is clubs like this one, that remind us that WE DO RECOVER.

For the purpose of this event, we host a 12k journey from Davis County Jail to our front doors. For those who want a shorter route but would like to participate, we have a 5k which starts and ends at the club.
