The winner will join Carey's Guide Service for a bear hunt with hounds in the fall of 2026. Hunt dates based on availability at time of booking. All meals and lodging are included. Carey's is one of the best and they have many days where they harvest two bears in one day! This will be a fast paced, high action hunt. Hound hunts can involve a fair amount of walking. Although typical walks are less than 500 yards, staying in good shape and being able to cover ground quickly and quietly can help you be prepared for anything!

Moose Maine Kids was established in 2018 to reverse the trend of declining youth participation rates in traditional outdoor activities. Our main program is to take kids with critical illnesses or severe disabilities on adventures of a lifetime. We strive to make their outdoor adventure dreams a reality. We provide opportunities to fish, hunt, hike or just enjoy nature. In addition, we take over 100 kids a year on hunting and fishing adventures. Our programs are designed to provide opportunities to kids who would not normally get these opportunities.
