Join us for the 5th Annual Tea for Justice on May 7th, 2026. The Tea for Justice is a FUNdraising event for Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley (emphasis on FUN!).

Beth Macy will join us this year as our keynote speaker, fresh off of publishing her recent book Paper Girl. We will also have fascinators and mimosas for sale, live music, the Valley's best silent auction (just in time for Mother's Day shopping!), and a photobooth. All of that is in addition to the wonderful food, desserts, and (of course!) TEA that you'll enjoy amongst great friends and good company.

For more than 50 years, Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley (LASRV) has worked tirelessly to provide equal access to justice for low-income residents in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. LASRV attorneys and staff are committed to providing a full range of FREE expert legal services ranging from eviction prevention to security safety from domestic violence to preserving access to unemployment benefits. Funds raised at the Tea for Justice will be used 100% locally to help those in our community who need legal assistance the most.

Grab your favorite fascinator or bowtie, enjoy an afternoon tea luncheon, and support LASRV all at the same time. Pinkies up!

The Tea for Justice is hosted by Virginia Housing whose mission is to "Helping Virginians Attain Quality, Affordable Housing." This is especially critical to LASRV clients, all of whom are 200% or below of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
