Every Pack Makes a Difference: Invest in West Michigan's Future with the Big Backpack Build

While many families are planning beach days and summer adventures, thousands of children in West Michigan face a different reality - the challenge of starting school without the supplies they need to succeed.

That’s where YOU come in.

Storehouse is launching the 2027 Big Backpack Build with a bold goal: to equip 15,000 students with brand-new backpacks filled with essential school supplies.

Imagine the excitement on a child’s face when they receive a sturdy backpack packed with everything they need for the year ahead. Imagine the relief of a parent, knowing their child can walk into class prepared and confident.

This initiative builds on the success of Storehouse’s Teacher Store, a vital resource for educators in low-income communities. By supporting the Big Backpack Build, you’re not just providing supplies -you’re making an investment in the success of our next generation.

Our goal: $200,000 to ensure students start school ready to learn.
Every $25 donation provides a backpack filled with supplies worth over $40.
