Our programs provide essential diabetes education while fostering connections that bring a sense of belonging and normalcy, extending well beyond camp. For families facing a new diabetes diagnosis, Camp Bluebonnet often becomes a beacon of hope, introduced by local doctors and nurses as a positive, supportive network. Here, campers build lifelong friendships, and parents and caregivers find a community that shares their experiences and offers guidance on managing diabetes.
