Georgia K9 Classic is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting working and retired K9s and the people who serve alongside them.

Through fundraising events, community partnerships, and sponsorships, we help provide essential equipment, training, safety resources, medical care, and mission-critical gear to K9 teams across Georgia, including underserved teams that may lack access to adequate funding and resources.

For working K9s, retirement doesn't come with a pension or disability benefits. Once their service ends, the financial responsibility for their care often falls on their handlers, adoptive families, and private supporters. Medically retired K9s may require years of ongoing veterinary treatment, medication, rehabilitation, and specialized care. Routine and emergency medical expenses can create significant financial burdens, both during active service and throughout retirement.

We believe these remarkable dogs deserve more than recognition for their service. They deserve the equipment and protection to perform their missions safely, access to medical care when they need it, and dignity and comfort throughout their retirement.

Georgia K9 Classic brings individuals, businesses, and communities together to help ensure that the K9s who dedicate their lives to serving others are never forgotten when their working days are over.
