HELP US BUILD THE FIRST TONY GASKINS FAMILY FOUNDATION LEARNING CENTER

Building Boys. Developing Leaders. Changing Lives.

Our Goal: Open Our First Boys' Learning & Development Center in Central Florida by the End of 2027.

Every boy deserves a safe place to grow, a positive role model to follow, and an opportunity to become everything he was created to be.

At the Tony Gaskins Family Foundation, we believe that the future of our communities depends on the investment we make in our children today.

There are countless young boys who have incredible potential, but lack the resources, guidance, structure, and support necessary to fully develop their gifts. Some are growing up without consistent mentorship. Others are struggling academically, navigating peer pressure, or being exposed to negative influences that can alter the course of their lives.

We want to change that.

Our mission is to create a safe, inspiring, and empowering environment where middle and high school boys can learn, grow, build meaningful relationships, and develop the skills necessary to become successful young men.

We are raising funds to open our very first Tony Gaskins Family Foundation Boys' Learning & Development Center in Central Florida by December 2027.

This will be more than an after-school program.

It will be a place of purpose, possibility, and preparation for life.

A Safe Place to Learn, Grow, and Belong

Imagine a young boy leaving school each afternoon knowing that he has somewhere safe to go. Somewhere he is welcomed, encouraged, challenged, and supported.

Instead of spending unsupervised hours in the streets, being influenced by the wrong crowd, or sitting at home without guidance, he enters a place filled with opportunity.

He has access to computers, tutors, mentors, educational resources, recreational activities, and positive male role models who genuinely care about his future.

He can complete his homework, improve his grades, learn valuable life skills, discover career opportunities, build friendships, and simply enjoy being a kid.

Most importantly, he is surrounded by people who see greatness in him, even when he hasn't learned to see it in himself.

That is the environment we are working to create.

Our first location will serve a select group of middle and high school boys, allowing us to provide intentional, consistent, and meaningful support rather than simply offering a place to pass the time.

We want to know these young men by name, understand their individual challenges, celebrate their accomplishments, and help guide them through some of the most important years of their lives.

What the Learning Center Will Provide

1. Academic Support & Tutoring

Education creates opportunities. Our center will provide access to computers, homework assistance, tutoring, academic accountability, and educational resources to help boys succeed in the classroom and prepare for life after graduation.

2. Mentorship From Positive Male Role Models

We plan to bring together respected men from throughout our communities, including current and former professional athletes, entrepreneurs, business owners, educators, community leaders, and other professionals who understand the importance of giving back.

These mentors will share their experiences, teach important lessons, answer questions, and develop meaningful relationships with the boys.

We want our young men to meet people who have accomplished great things and understand that success is possible for them, too.

3. Career Exposure & Life Skills Development

Not every boy will become a professional athlete, entertainer, or entrepreneur, but every boy has the potential to become a productive, responsible, and successful man.

Through presentations, workshops, hands-on activities, and personal engagement, we want to introduce our boys to a wide variety of career paths while teaching essential life skills, including:

Financial literacy, saving, budgeting, and money management
Communication, confidence, and leadership
Conflict resolution and emotional intelligence
Personal responsibility, discipline, and accountability
Career exploration, entrepreneurship, and job readiness
Healthy relationships, respect, and character development
Goal setting, decision-making, and overcoming adversity
Mental wellness, resilience, and positive habits

4. Recreation, Friendship & Positive Social Development

We believe boys need opportunities to have fun, build friendships, and enjoy healthy competition.

Our vision includes a welcoming, sports-inspired environment with computer stations, gaming areas, a pool table, foosball, and comfortable spaces for group activities and meaningful conversations.

We want the center to feel like a place the boys genuinely look forward to visiting every day.

5. Meals, Snacks & Daily Support

A child should not have to worry about being hungry while trying to learn.

Your contributions will help us provide food, snacks, and beverages so the boys can remain nourished, focused, and comfortable throughout their time at the center.

6. Transportation & a Safe Place Until Parents Return Home

We recognize that transportation and after-school supervision can be major challenges for working families.

Our goal is to provide transportation from school to the learning center and from the center back home for boys who need it.

We also want to offer a safe, supervised environment where boys can remain until a parent or guardian is available.

For some families, this support could make an extraordinary difference in their daily lives.

Why This Mission Matters

The hours between the end of the school day and the time parents return home can be some of the most vulnerable hours in a young person's life.

Without supervision, structure, and positive influences, young boys can find themselves exposed to situations that affect their education, emotional development, and future.

But what happens when we replace those vulnerable hours with mentorship, education, encouragement, and opportunity?

We create a different path.

We believe that one conversation can change a mindset. One mentor can change a decision. One opportunity can change a future.

And one safe place can change the direction of a young man's life.

We don't want to wait until a boy is in trouble to offer him help.

We want to reach him before he loses his way.

Our desire is to be proactive, not reactive. To invest in prevention rather than waiting for intervention. To build young men who understand their value, recognize their potential, and develop the confidence to make wise decisions.

We want to help raise future fathers, husbands, leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and productive members of society.

How Your Donation Will Be Used

Opening and operating a quality learning center is a major undertaking, and we cannot accomplish it alone.

Your financial contributions will help us cover the essential costs of launching and supporting our first location, including:

Facility Expenses: Securing, preparing, furnishing, and maintaining a safe learning center in Central Florida.
Technology & Educational Resources: Purchasing computers, desks, learning software, tutoring materials, and other academic resources.
Staffing & Supervision: Hiring qualified support staff to manage daily operations, supervise activities, and provide a safe, structured environment.
Transportation: Helping provide reliable transportation between schools, the center, and students' homes.
Food & Beverages: Supplying daily snacks, meals, and refreshments for participating boys.
Mentorship & Development Programs: Coordinating workshops, guest presentations, career exploration, and life-skills training.
Recreation & Enrichment: Providing games, sports-related activities, and equipment that encourage healthy social interaction.
Safety & Operations: Supporting insurance, security, maintenance, and other essential operational expenses.

Every contribution, regardless of size, moves us closer to opening our doors.

Our Goal: Opening by the End of 2027

We have set an ambitious goal to open our first learning center in Central Florida by the end of 2027.

We understand that building something meaningful takes time, resources, planning, and the support of people who believe in the mission.

We are committed to doing the work necessary to turn this vision into a reality.

And when we open our doors, we want the people who helped make it possible to celebrate with us.

We plan to host a special grand opening celebration, welcoming our donors and supporters to join us in person or virtually.

We want you to see the space you helped create, meet the people behind the mission, and witness the beginning of what we hope will become a lasting legacy.

Our vision doesn't end with one location.

We want this first center to become the foundation for a model that can eventually serve boys in communities across the country.

But every great mission has to start somewhere.

For us, it starts right here in Central Florida.

We Cannot Do This Without You

We are asking individuals, families, businesses, corporations, professional athletes, community leaders, and everyone who believes in investing in the next generation to stand with us.

Some will be able to give $10. Others may give $100, $1,000, $10,000, or more.

Some may be able to provide equipment, furniture, educational resources, professional services, or other forms of support.

No contribution is too small when it is given toward a mission this meaningful.

If you cannot make a financial contribution today, you can still support this mission by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, coworkers, and community.

The more people we reach, the greater our opportunity to make this vision a reality.

Help Us Change the Story of a Young Man's Life

Somewhere in Central Florida, there is a young boy who has no idea how much potential lives inside of him.

He may not have someone consistently encouraging him.

He may not know what career he wants to pursue.

He may be struggling in school, battling self-doubt, or searching for a place where he feels accepted.

He may be one positive relationship away from making a life-changing decision.

We want to be there for that boy.

We want to give him a place to belong.

A place to be heard.

A place to be challenged.

A place to dream.

And most importantly, a place to discover that his circumstances do not have to determine his future.

Our message to every boy who walks through our doors will be simple:

"You can achieve anything you dream!"

With your help, we can do more than open a building.

We can open doors of opportunity. We can build confidence. We can develop leaders. We can strengthen families. And we can help change lives for generations to come.

Thank you for believing in our vision, supporting our mission, and helping us invest in the next generation of young men.

Together, we can build something that outlives us all.

With gratitude,

Tony Gaskins
