For 25 years, Orca Network has connected people with whales in the Pacific Northwest, transforming curiosity into care, and care into action.

What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a powerful community of advocates, educators, and citizen scientists working together to protect whales and the Salish Sea. Because of supporters like you, we’ve been able to track and share real-time whale sightings, respond to marine mammal strandings, educate thousands of students and visitors through our programs and at our Langley Whale Center, our dedicated education hub, and advocate for policies that protect these iconic species.

This milestone is not just a celebration of the past. It’s a launchpad for the future.

The challenges facing whales today are urgent. From vessel disturbance to habitat degradation, the need for informed, engaged communities has never been greater.
