Preparations are underway for the sixth annual Madison County Power of the Purse, scheduled to take place Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Choctaw Lake Lodge in London. This year’s theme, Dolly, Denim & Diamonds, brings an exciting twist to the celebration with extra glitz and sparkle. Proceeds from the evening will help fund Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program in Madison County.

United Way of Clark, Champaign, and Madison Counties aims to provide all children in our three-county area with access to positive early childhood experiences that nurture, grow, and inspire. They empower children to dream more, learn more, care more, and be more through programs like Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which promotes early brain activity and literacy.
