Fresh Opportunities is a NYC high school founded organization taking action against hunger one meal at a time. Our organization is dedicated to reducing food waste and feeding the food insecure by providing students with the supplies to package and deliver their school's extra lunch to local community fridges. In a little over 2 months our organization has recovered 1,000 meals from getting wasted and redistributed the meals to food insecure individuals across NYC.

There are currently students in 23+ schools who are interested in starting chapters of Fresh Opportunites to reduce food waste at their schools and give back to the community, but we don't have the resources to provide these students with the supplies.

Please donate this Giving Tuesday to enable more students to feed food insecure individuals in their own communities.

Every $1 donated = 4 meals donated to food insecure individuals

$50 covers the costs to provide students at a school with the supplies to package and deliver 300+ meals.

$100 covers the costs of sponsoring a community sandwhich making event
