Relentless Faith: Rebuilding the City of Gary is a powerful docuseries that chronicles the inspiring journey of Gary’s revitalization. Through the stories of local leaders, community members, and changemakers, we’ll show how faith, determination, and hard work are transforming this once-thriving city. The series highlights the rebuilding efforts led by FaithWorks Network, a nonprofit founded by Dennis Walton that brings together pastors, community organizations, and local leaders to restore lives, neighborhoods, and hope.

As part of this effort, we’re working on Episode 3: What It Takes to Rebuild a City. In this episode, we’ll dive into Holistic Healing, showcasing the critical services that are providing a foundation for this transformation:

Education – empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to rebuild their lives and community
Workforce Development – offering training for hands-on careers and workforce readiness
Oases Botanic Gardens – transforming abandoned property into a vibrant urban farm, providing fresh produce for farm-to-table services and fostering community renewal
Emergency Housing for Women – providing safe refuge for women in crisis
Health Services – expanding access to essential mental and physical health care
