For many of our students, their first day at Food Jobs Work is the first time someone has invested in their potential in years—maybe ever.

They've survived justice involvement, layoffs, homelessness, addiction, abuse. They've been told they're not enough. But in our kitchen, they discover a different truth: they are capable, worthy, and deserving of better days.

And they prove it—with an 80% employment success rate.

Since 2017, we've graduated 100 students into living-wage culinary careers. But with government funding drying up, we need your help to keep our doors open and our burners on. Our 15th cohort of students is coming soon, and we need to raise at least $20,000 from non-government sources to make it happen.
