The 2x2 Hip-Hop Festival started with a simple idea: create a space in Columbus, Ohio where hip-hop could be experienced the way it was meant to be — together, in community, and in all four elements.

Today, the 2x2 Hip-Hop Festival is a full-day celebration of DJing, MCing, Breaking, and Graffiti Writing. Multiple stages feature live performances, high-energy battles, and curated showcases, all surrounded by live art being created in real time. Artists and fans from across the Midwest travel to Columbus to be part of this experience.

Our mission is to provide a platform where artists can express themselves through their chosen element, while opening doors for the next generation to discover hip-hop, connect with community, and feel seen, heard, and inspired.

Hip-hop has always served the community — giving people a voice, an outlet, and a way to transform struggle into art, movement, and rhythm. This festival continues that tradition by creating a safe, welcoming space for youth, families, and culture bearers to come together.

Donations help fund stages and sound, live performances, hosts, judges, and support our kids and adult dance competitions, youth and community art activities, and supplies for our live art walls and equipment. Every contribution helps us create a high-quality, accessible festival that centers culture, creativity, and community.
