Family Promise of Las Vegas is celebrating 30 years of serving families with children experiencing homelessness and housing instability in Southern Nevada.

To mark this milestone, we are hosting the Family Promise of Las Vegas 30-Year Anniversary Family Festival on September 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Community Lutheran Church.

This will not be a traditional gala or fundraising dinner. As an organization dedicated to serving families with children, we wanted our celebration to reflect the heart of our mission. This free, family-centered event will bring together families we serve, volunteers, community partners, local businesses, churches, supporters, and the broader community for an evening of games, food, entertainment, family activities, educational and development resources and a wonderful celebration.

Event Overview

The 30-Year Anniversary Family Festival will be a joyful, community-centered celebration marking three decades of Family Promise serving families with children in Southern Nevada.

The festival will feature a carnival-style outdoor experience across the Community Lutheran Church campus, including food trucks, games, bounce houses, children’s activities, family-friendly entertainment, and a community Resource Village. The event will also include an indoor variety show with family-friendly magicians, entertainers, and featured performances. The event will also raise awareness of family homelessness, strengthen community partnerships, recruit volunteers, engage supporters, and connect families with resources and relationships that help them move toward long-term stability.

This is more than an event sponsorship. It is an opportunity to be part of one of the most meaningful community celebrations of the year — a free, family-centered festival honoring 30 years of helping families with children move from homelessness and housing instability toward stability.

Our recent Family Navigation Center Grand Opening received coverage from 22 local media outlets and generated hundreds of thousands of media impressions. This 30-year celebration will be another highly visible opportunity to bring attention to family homelessness and the partners helping create solutions.

Family Promise of Las Vegas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families with children experiencing homelessness and housing instability achieve safe housing, financial stability, and long-term independence.

In 2025, Family Promise of Las Vegas served 311 families, provided more than 17,000 nights of shelter, delivered 13,657 individualized services, helped 94 individuals secure employment, and supported 89% of families in achieving stable, independent housing.
