The Feminist Institute (TFI) is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the histories of feminist artists, activists, writers, collectives, and digital creators: stories that shaped culture but have too often been overlooked. Through our free digital archive, we digitize personal collections, artworks, ephemera, and early feminist web projects so this history is accessible, searchable, and safe for future generations.

Our Goal: Raise $5,000 to Preserve Feminist History

That’s why this year, we’re launching our End-of-Year Campaign: 30 Days of Feminist History.
From November 24–December 24, we’re sharing a powerful object from the TFI Digital Archive every day: from protest photographs and radical publications to experimental artworks and early digital activism. Each object reminds us why preservation matters: feminist history moves because people do.

This campaign is both a celebration and a call to action. For those who want to sustain this work beyond the 30-day campaign, we’ve created a new monthly donor community: the TFI Feminist Futures Circle.

TFI is a small, scrappy, women-led organization doing national-scale archival work with limited capacity. To continue digitizing at-risk collections, expanding free public access, and advancing our 2026 initiative to Preserve the Feminist Internet, we need to raise $5,000 this giving season.
