Big ideas need a way forward.

Across Philadelphia, communities have ideas for the places where they live, work, play, gather, and thrive.

A welcoming gathering space.
A reimagined schoolyard.
A stronger home for a neighborhood nonprofit.
A vacant or overlooked space with a whole new future.

It starts with a vision.

Your support helps turn that vision into a way forward.

What your gift makes possible.

The professional expertise may be donated, but bringing the right people together and supporting a thoughtful, community-engaged design process takes real resources.

That’s where you come in.

35 YEARS IN. MORE POSSIBILITIES AHEAD.

Help raise $15,000 for what comes next.

Your gift connects community and nonprofit leaders with the design expertise, partnerships, and tools they need to move an idea forward.

And that early work can unlock so much more.

A design can help a community rally support, raise funds, build partnerships, and take the next step toward making a project real.

An idea is only the beginning. Preliminary design can help communities build support, raise funding, strengthen partnerships, and take the next step.

WHY NOW

35 years of possibility and more work ahead.

For 35 years, the Community Design Collaborative has partnered with Philadelphia communities to imagine what’s possible. For 35 years, we’ve seen what can happen when community vision meets design expertise.

But access to high-quality design still isn’t equitable. Across Philadelphia, more ideas are waiting for their chance to move forward.

Together, we can change that.

THERE’S MORE THAN ONE WAY TO HELP

Give. Share. Bring someone with you.

This campaign grows person by person. You can help move the work forward and invite someone else to be part of what comes next.

GIVE →

Help move another community idea forward.
Make a gift of any size to help put design expertise within reach.

SHARE →

Tell someone why this work matters to you.
A personal invitation can reach people the Collaborative might never reach on its own.

FUNDRAISE →

Bring your people into the work.
Start a fundraising page and invite friends, colleagues, and neighbors to join you.

Every gift creates another possibility.

Together, block by block, project by project, we can keep strengthening Philadelphia’s neighborhoods through design.
