April Ancira is the VP of Ancira Auto Group and oversees the operations of 13 New Franchised Auto stores.

She has worked in the car business since 1997 in every facet from being an operator and cashier to selling cars and trucks on the front line. Along with her husband, Jason, and two children, Hope and Gunnar, she has always called San Antonio home. She loves San Antonio so much, that she serves on multiple charitable and work-related boards, state and local, when she isn't doing standup comedy or racing in an Ironman or other long distance fitness challenges.

Each year, April picks one charity to put everything she has behind it when it comes to fundraising. As a Board Member at The Tobin Center, April has been able to illustrate her wonderful sense of humor and passion for the Arts. She also recognizes that not everyone can afford to purchase a ticket to a Tobin performance.

In 2025, April has committed to expanding access to the arts in San Antonio and removing barriers to arts participation by supporting Charlie's Seats. Charlie’s Seats (named after Susan Naylor's son Charlie) is the umbrella name for all of The Tobin Center’s programs that provide complimentary and discounted tickets to Tobin performances.

With your support of April's 2025 fundraising campaign, you can provide opportunities for local nonprofits serving under resourced youth, students, area college students, first responders, teachers, active and retired military, and SNAP recipients to receive FREE tickets to Tobin Center performances. In addition, you can ensure school groups can attend by providing transportation scholarships for schools that are unable to bring students because of the high cost of transportation.

Together, we can ensure everyone in San Antonio can experience the arts in 2025 and beyond.
