Our Third Concert at our new venue Valley Center for the Performing Arts (formerly Holy Names University), 3500 Mountain Blvd. Oakland Hills, just off Highway 13 at Redwood Road, is set for Sunday, January 25 at 3PM. We will perform Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E featuring our Khuner Young Soloist Concerto Comopetition winner Noelle Lai. We will also perform the seldom heard Dvorak Symphony No 7.

Since 1965, Prometheus Symphony Orchestra has offered five or more concerts, with no admission charge. Our excellent musicians—life-long amateur players and former professional musicians—share a passion for great symphonic music. We feature great composers from the Classical, Romantic and Modern periods—both fan favorites and composers you might not yet be familiar with. And our Khuner Young Artist Concerto Competition discovers gifted young musicians who perform with the orchestra each season and often go on to international careers.

While our concerts are always free, we do rely on donations from both our musicians and our audience. You can donate when you reserve your tickets on this site, on our website, or in person at a concert. We have a wonderful Donor Rewards program, based on your contribution level, which you can see on our website. We gratefully thank everyone for all your contributions!
