The Purple Lemonade Project is a fun, family-friendly summer activity to raise money for Rett Syndrome Research Trust, the organization trying to cure Rett syndrome.

Want to get started?

It's quick and easy to get a stand set up in front of your home, or any local businesses/events. We promise you'll be surprised by how supportive your community will be. If you build it, they will come!

We've got some resources to help you get set up that you can print from your home below!

How it works:

Host a lemonade stand in your community and sell purple lemonade.
Choose your location: front yard, park, school, church, or a local farmers market.
Make the stand your own: feel free to use our purple lemonade recipe or create your own version.
Share photos and videos from your stand using #MakeAStandForRett so we can highlight your efforts and inspire others.
After your event, donate the money you raised to RSRT using this fundraising page or by writing a check.

Can’t host a stand this year? You can still support the campaign by making a donation in honor of your loved one affected by Rett syndrome. Every dollar counts and goes toward advancing research for cures. When you make a donation, please let us know who you are supporting.

Why Purple?

Our lemonade recipe begins as a vibrant blue and transforms into purple when the lemon is added. It’s beautiful, science-inspired (like us), something that kids love to see, and purple represents our wonderful Rett community.
