3GNJ engages grandchildren of Holocaust survivors to preserve our families’ stories and ensure the lessons of the Holocaust remain urgent and relevant today. As the number of living survivors shrinks, the responsibility to remember - and to carry their stories forward - now rests with us.

3GNJ brings trained third-generation descendants of survivors ("3Gs") into New Jersey classrooms and community spaces to share personal family histories alongside historical context. These moving presentations help students understand the real impact of antisemitism and hate, and empower them to respond with empathy, courage, and responsibility.

3GNJ also builds meaningful community among descendants of survivors across New Jersey through gatherings, discussion groups, film screenings, and social programs. These spaces allow 3Gs and friends to connect, reflect, and support one another, strengthening identity, resilience, and a shared sense of purpose.
