Join us to learn more about 3GNY and meet grandchildren of Holocaust survivors in the area (3Gs).

This program will also feature the premiere of The Last Generation, a poignant documentary featuring Holocaust survivor, Evelyne Appel, and her grandson, 3GNY Volunteer, Matt Holtz.

After the screening, Evelyne and Matt will answer audience questions along with the film's writer and director, Sophie Rose, and producer, Maddy Kramer.

About The Last Generation:

Evelyne Appel was just a little girl when the world she knew disappeared.
In this intimate short documentary from The Last Generation, she sits with her grandson, Matt, to revisit memories she has rarely spoken aloud—moments of survival, loss, resilience, and unexpected hope. This isn’t just another testimony about the war.

Filmed with striking simplicity, their conversation captures the heart of The Last Generation: survivors and their grandchildren holding history together. What emerges is a living testament to memory itself, a reminder that when survivors speak and their grandchildren listen, history stays alive.
