Equipping and Empowering Access to Healing and Rest for the Most Vulnerable

This is more than a campaign—it’s a call to bring healing, rest, and renewal to those who need it most. Through our water therapy retreat center on Oahu, 2 Walk on Water is providing access to foster families, families battling cancer, and first responders and veterans suffering from PTSD. In partnership with the Forever Nate Foundation, we are giving families the chance to truly experience Aloha—breath, water, and God.

THE STORY

In the heart of Hawaii lies the power to transform lives forever. The word “Hawai‘i” is a sacred reminder of that calling: Ha (breath), Wai (water), and ‘I (God). This place was designed to restore the essence of life.

For foster youth who have faced unimaginable trauma, the Aloha Life Retreat offers healing, purpose, and the embrace of Ohana—a family bound not by blood, but by compassion, truth, and love.

The Program: Families Facing the Hardest Battles

We are raising $200,000 to sponsor families walking through some of life’s most painful seasons—those battling cancer, first responders and veterans living with PTSD, and foster families in need of restoration. Each is invited to experience the healing power of Hawaii’s water, Ohana, and faith-infused wellness.

These families face real, ongoing battles:

The emotional toll of cancer on both children and caregivers.
The invisible wounds of service—PTSD, burnout, and moral injury among our first responders and veterans.
The deep need for rest and reconnection within foster families navigating trauma and broken systems.

They need more than rest—they need restoration. A sacred space to heal, reconnect, and remember they are not alone.

The Aloha Life Retreat: A Journey to Healing and Purpose

This 6-week wellness program is grounded in the culture of Hawaii and the truth of God’s love. It includes:

Trauma-informed curriculum and faith-based training (The Garden, The Wedding, Boundaries)
Water therapy as healing, inspired by Jesus and the spirit of Aloha
Identity and purpose discovery
Gratitude, forgiveness, and resilience exercises
Meditation and breathwork for mental clarity
Peer-led support groups and a long-term vision roadmap
