About the Ministry of the Third Cross, (MOTC) Inc.

MOTC is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, in its 27th year of providing faith-based mentoring, spiritual retreats, spiritual guidance and support to hundreds of formerly incarcerated men and women. MOTC is largely comprised of volunteers from diverse Christian communities that assist formerly incarcerated individuals to transform their lives and become morally productive citizens. "The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down" (Psalm 145:14).

Each year, the Ministry of the Third Cross (MOTC) women’s retreat offers a transformative space for women who have been through the criminal justice system to come together to renew their spirits and restore their lives through Jesus Christ with the guidance of a supportive community. The impact of this gathering reaches far beyond the days spent together—it becomes a beacon of encouragement, spiritual growth, and empowerment that lasts throughout the year. As we prepare for our upcoming retreat, your support is essential to ensure that as many women as possible can participate in this spiritual retreat, regardless of financial circumstances. About the MOTC Women’s Retreat

The MOTC women’s retreat is a multi-day event that brings together women from different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. Our goal is to nurture spiritual growth, foster everlasting relationships, and create a supportive environment where every woman can renew their connection with Jesus Christ, reflect, and return home with a restored spirit. During the retreat, the women engage in faith-based workshops, discussions, wellness activities, and creative sessions designed to ignite the fire of Jesus Christ. Through both quiet reflection and lively group interaction, women find space to share their stories, learn of God's mercy, and build self confidence through God's work. Jesus commanded the healed man, "Return home, and declare how much God has done for you" (Luke 8:39).

While the retreat is a life-changing experience for many, financial challenges can prevent some women from attending. Costs such as lodging, meals, materials, and guest speakers can add up quickly.
