3GNY's Chai Fund

A gift to 3GNY’s Chai Fund sustains our work year-round - bringing the stories of our grandparents into classrooms, confronting antisemitism and hate through education, and nurturing a community of descendants committed to carrying this history forward.

We invite you to make a gift in a multiple of 18: $180, $360, $1,800, or another meaningful amount. In Jewish tradition, the number 18 represents chai, the Hebrew word for life. Giving in multiples of chai honors the sacredness of every human life.

Each classroom visit costs approximately $360 to coordinate, and each one creates a lasting impact. Teachers consistently tell us that students continue talking about these presentations long after the visit ends. As one student recently reflected:

“You can hear thousands of stats about the Holocaust but it doesn't hit nearly as hard as a real story.”
