Here is the most recent schedule for Saturday’s National Wreaths Across America Day: Friday, December 13, 2024 1000 - 1300 - Wreaths Scheduled to Arrive at Cemetery 1300 – 1630 - Wreath Unloading and Staging - we need as many volunteers as possible to help unload wreath boxes and stage at wreath distribution points. Saturday, December 14, 2024 – National Wreaths Across America (WAA) Day 0600 – Preparation and Unboxing of Wreaths 0800 - Ceremony Participants Call Time - Amphitheater 0900 – Ceremony Starts - Amphitheater Immediately Following the Ceremony – Wreath Distribution and Laying begins Distribution points will be at the Sections that the cemetery has selected for Wreath Laying this year. The selected sections are: 12 thru 20 Volunteers PLEASE COME EARLY. Wreath distribution is first come first serve and initially limited to about 3 wreaths per person/trip. Volunteers can come back multiple times to the distribution points and retrieve more wreaths as long as there are wreaths still available to distribute - so please arrive in time for the ceremony to ensure chance of getting wreaths to place before they run out. Distribution points will close as soon as all wreaths have been distributed or placed. PARKING: Please help us by keeping the main roadway, traffic circles, and the Car Staging Lanes clear. Other than that, there is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot along the other side streets leading to the various sections. --SAVE THE DATE-- Saturday, January 11, 2025 0700 – Wreath Pick up and Clean Up – need as many volunteers as possible to pick up wreaths and bring them to the trash/recycle bin areas. - Helpful to have volunteers with pick up trucks or other cargo vehicles to make hauling of wreaths from the various sections easier.
