We’re excited to raise funds for our new 501c3! Last year, our rehab operated on our own dime with very few donations of supplies or funds. But 2026 is our year! We’re stepping into it as a nonprofit, growing our volunteer team, and aiming higher. Our CEO, Tim, is eager to get vaccines for handling RVS species and to help care for the animals we take in and transport. We’re fundraising for his three vaccines and the supplies we need to stock up for baby season, which kicks off in February here in Virginia. The vaccines alone are $500 a shot.

This year, we cared for 208 orphaned or injured animals, and even welcomed our first Educational Animal, Cindy Lou, who came to us with MBD and a lifelong leg deformity. She’ll be making more public appearances starting in January after easing into events this year. With your support, we can provide the care we desperately need, stock up on food for all incoming animals, and expand our outdoor raccoon and squirrel enclosures to take in more without overcrowding—helping wildlife stay happy and thrive before release.
