It is with great excitement and a lot of pride that the #DoneForDiDi team reveals the next step of the #40AcresAndASchool vision. 

Drumroll, please … the picture you see before you is the Big Reparations Reveal! This is an artist’s rendering of the 40 Acres And A School campus and what it could look like!

Pictured is a colored rendering of 40 Acres and a School: 

The lot is green grass on a rolling hill, with trees and mountains in the distance. 

Upon this lot, we see in one glass building to the left:

- a nature center, 

- solarium and 

- greenhouse together. 

In a classic red farm house to the right is housed 

- the community center and 

- the Freedom School. 

Three smaller red buildings in between show 

- retreat housing and 

- work sheds. 

The scale of the main buildings appear to be 2 or 3 stories in comparison to the size of the people gathered.

What’s more, paved and wheelchair-accessible paths form a center quad of 

- art and gathering spaces, and

- four sculptures that evoke the spirit of the work and passion and rising of this effort are placed throughout the campus, 

- while lush fields of sunflowers and lavender surround the buildings. 

People are around the property:

- children running and playing, 

- adults gathered in groups, conversing 

- all healing, creating, enjoying, being.

You've been part of the building of this dream, and so we know you'll celebrate this next step on our path! Done For DiDi Inc is a 501(c)3 "charitable organization" (we'd call it a reparative organization, but let's not quibble). We have tax-exempt status in these so-called United States! 

This status is retroactive to April 16, 2021, so all past and future donations to the 40 Acres Campaign are tax-deductible. If you think past deductions will matter to your taxes (with the large standard deduction it may not), you have two options:

💰 You may add this update (see the statement at the bottom) to your records coupled with your previous donation receipt for your documentation.

💰 If you need an updated copy of your receipt, please email us at 40acres@thedididelgado.com and we will issue one with the appropriate charitable donation statement.
