One Day to Remember was founded in 2016 by an oncology nurse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After witnessing the profound impact advanced-stage cancer has on young children and their families, she dedicated her life to creating a nonprofit that could offer meaningful support during their most difficult moments.

Families navigating treatment often face overwhelming demands—medical routines, financial pressure, and the emotional weight of an uncertain future. In the midst of all this, creating space for joy, connection, and relief can feel nearly impossible to plan alone.

Every One Day to Remember outing is thoughtfully curated for each family, designed around their unique interests, needs, and abilities to ensure the experience feels personal, special, and restorative.
