In 2017 we launched the 4B Disaster Response Network (4B DRN) many churches, foundations and individuals generously provided the financial support to set us in motion. While we are still blessed with the support of local churches and individuals, the outside funding has come to an end. Many of you have generously donated to this campaign already and we are so grateful!

We are asking you to consider providing a monthly financial gift of $50 toward the mission of the 4B DRN. We are seeking a total of 1,000 Champions to provide our monthly budget so our work can continue without interruption. A monthly recurring gift of $50, $600 annually, will make a difference in the lives of so many families here in the 4B area. You will be their CHAMPION!

We began serving local families starting with Hurricane Harvey in 2017, responded to Winter Storm Uri in 2021 and then came to the aid of families whose homes were damaged in 2024 by Hurricane Beryl. We have also worked on a number of homes in between disasters that we felt just needed our assistance. All told, we have worked in well over 2,000 homes at this point and have projects pending all over the 4B Area.

Additionally, we are initiating a new “Resiliency Program” to aid homeowners whose homes need minor repairs in order to make their homes more resilient when the next storm hits. Thanks to a grant from the Moody Foundation, this work will start in the last quarter of 2025.

In early 2026, we hope to launch our “Emergency Shelter Network” initiative through which we plan to help churches create shelters for their communities across the 4B Area. We are waiting on funding for this program and are praying for God’s provision.
