In 2023, socks were provided for 3 classrooms at Argyle West Elementary School. About 70 pairs in total for March 21, 2024.

In November 2024, the Burwell's announced they needed 755 pairs of socks to accomplish their goal for March 21, 2025—not an easy feat (pun intended). Katie and Michael mobilized their family and friends and took to social media. “There is power in sharing and we wanted to create a movement,” Katie said. Their family and friends began sharing the campaign on their social media accounts. Everyone was talking about the socks and wanted to support Team Tatum! On January 23, Katie announced that they reached their goal! They are able to provide 755 pairs of socks to Argyle West Elementary so all of the students and staff can wear them on March 21 for World Down Syndrome Day!

Fast forward to October 2026- the goal this year is EVEN bigger: to supply all 4 elementary schools in Argyle with a pair of socks for World Down Syndrome Day 3.21.2026 (celebrated on 3.20 as 3.21 is on a Saturday). This goal will be to provide 3,555 pairs to students and staff. Socks will be $10 this year- which is more cost affordable than last year, with a portion going back to the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (DSDN) and organization that has been instrumental for parents with children who have Down Syndrome.
