My Morning Out has been serving local families for over 50 years, offering a joyful, play-based, part-time preschool experience rooted in warmth, curiosity, and connection. Our mission has always been to provide children with a gentle, meaningful start to their learning journey, and for generations, we’ve been proud to do just that.

Today, we are reaching out with honesty and urgency. MMO is at risk of closing it's doors this month.

This fall, we experienced a very sudden and unexpected drop in enrollment just as the school year began. With our numbers already low, this loss created an immediate financial crisis. We can no longer afford to pay the teachers on staff without emergency support, and without help, we will be forced to close as soon as next Friday.

We are reaching out to the families who have been part of MMO’s legacy to ask for support. Your donation would give us time to make one last big push for enrollment and help to stabilize our program before the second semester begins in January. We estimate it would take $30,000 to keep us operating through December, a time when many families begin looking for preschool and childcare options again for the second half of the school year.

If MMO made a difference in your family’s life while your children were small, please consider donating to give us one more chance at survival. This program has served the community for over five decades, and we believe it is worth fighting for.

Your donation not only supports a local early childhood program, it may also qualify as a charitable deduction on your taxes. (Check with your employer, some businesses may match donations you make to do good in the community and take advantage of the tax deduction.)
