Sarah’s Story: A Lifeline in Keene

For Sarah, a stay-at-home parent of two young children in Keene, life can be challenging. “We’re a one-income family, and without a second car, I feel stranded sometimes,” she says. “Winter days, rainy days—it felt like we were trapped inside, watching the same TV show for the hundredth time.”

Affording consistent outings wasn't an option. Full-price museum admission felt like an impossible luxury, yet Sarah knew her children, 3-year-old Leo and 5-year-old Mia, desperately needed new spaces to explore and learn.

They’re building skills, and I’m making connections with other parents.”
