For years, families in our county have had to travel long distances to access private education tailored for students with special needs. We prayed for God to provide a solution—and He led us to become that solution by stepping out in faith and pooling our resources to answer this call.

As mothers, we recognized a deep need in our community—one that couldn’t be ignored. We prayed for an opportunity to bring essential resources closer to home, and now, in faith, we are stepping forward to make it happen. In August 2025, Ellie & Friends will open Lighthouse Special Education Academy, a place where education meets unwavering support, and where families who once felt they had no options can find hope.

We are thrilled to announce that Lighthouse Special Education Academy will launch in partnership with Interactiv Children’s Therapy Services, ensuring that our students receive not only quality education but also access to vital therapies—all in one space. This milestone marks the beginning of our pilot year, where we will serve six incredible students with the help of devoted teachers, staff, and therapists.
