For 50 years, Giving Tree children have put down roots—building friendships, discovering the natural world, and developing the social-emotional skills they carry with them into the world. The winds of change in our world are picking up and the gusts are stronger now than they were 50 years ago. We can't predict every storm. We can't hold back the wind. What we can do is strengthen our roots.

For 50 years, you have helped Giving Tree take root, grow, and thrive. As we look toward the next 50, we need your help more than ever. That’s why we’re inviting 50 people to become monthly donors—to put down roots alongside us and help create a stronger foundation for the future.

Your monthly gift becomes part of something larger: a network of people who believe in the power of children and the natural world as our teachers. Together, we can nurture the conditions children need to grow strong from the inside out—developing resilience, problem-solving skills, and agency, and learning to trust themselves and their capacity to navigate the world around them.

When the brisk winds of change inevitably come, we want every child to have deep roots to anchor them: an internal root system nourished by confidence, connection, and self-awareness, and an external one sustained by relationships, community, and a deep connection to the natural world.

Fifty years ago, our community planted something special.

Now it's our turn to tend it.

Join us today to build a future we can grow into together.
