Ignite the Future, Inc is a U.S.-based nonprofit 501c3 organization focused on supporting the work of the Ugandan-based Light the Future Foundation in educating children and fighting childhood hunger and malnutrition. Founded by Ssenyondo Patrick in the Ugandan village of Namayumba, Light the Future Foundation seeks to respond to both the immediate and long-term needs of children in this area, many of whom have been orphaned by war and disease. Ignite the Future, Inc. is founded by a small group of supporters dedicated to helping this mission.

Immediate goals include 1) covering the costs of school tuition and healthcare for up to 50 needy children in the village and 2) supporting the farming and harvesting of food that will be donated to the school to offset tuition costs.

Uganda is a nation in which 30% of children suffer from malnutrition, 5% die from preventable diseases before their 5th birthday, and 12% of girls become mothers while still teenagers themselves. In Namayumba, 85% of adults cannot read or write. However, Uganda is also a nation in which young visionaries like Ssenyondo Patrick are striving to make a difference and have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the children of Uganda.
