A Black disabled gnc friend of mine has been food insecure & needs help finding safe housing as their current environment has been deteriorating their health. They have also been recovering from LongCovid that they caught from living here, which has impaired their ability to work.

This fund will help them to be secured into an apartment and acquire essentials such as food & transportation.

Update: Thanks to your help so far we have been able to get them housed. Sub-goals going forward are to keep them housed while they get themself sufficient employment to properly support themself. (more info in the pinned post)

Update: Due to limitations on meeting larger goals in time, we've began pushing for sub-goals.

Update: Due to the time it has taken to crowdfund, we need more help, and the need has become more urgent. They are in the Global South, and temperatures have been at their highest. They have gotten more heat sick, and family members in the house have repeatedly gotten them sick from not masking. Funds had been used to provide them temporary refuge, and food, but we still need help for them to find permanent living. Please help them to get the $3,000 that they need to move out, marked at $6,000.
