The Woman's Club of Greater New Milford

Our organization: WCGNM is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Collectively, we are Living the Volunteer Spirit through raising funds and supporting projects throughout our local community. All of our programs are funded through donations, volunteering, and fundraising efforts of
the club. Each year we distribute funds to well over a dozen other non-profit organizations including the Youth Agency, Summer Reading programs, local animal shelters, and other programs within the community. Our primary purpose is to fund a scholarships yearly that are based on community service and volunteerism. The WCGNM is responsible for events such as The Teddy Bear festival, now in its 24th year (2022), the Fourth of July Cake, the Monster Petting Zoo at Halloween, Thanksgiving Baskets! We also fundraise through other projects such as Quarter Mania, Bake Sales, Penny Plus Auctions and a variety of other projects.
