MYAC's Fall Concerts feature all of our large ensembles. Thus all three concerts will include performances by our orchestras, choral ensembles and jazz big bands. Note that exact performance times are subject to change.

Concert 1 at 1:30PM:

Reading, Cadet and Concertino Orchestras directed by Mr. Patrick Pearson
Jazz Ensemble directed by Mr. Drew Hansen
Maestros Choral Ensemble directed by Ms. Meghan Mullins

Concert 2 at 2:30PM:

Philharmonia Orchestra directed by Mr. Patrick Pearson
Concert Orchestra directed by Dr. Allan Dennis. Performing:
- Schubert, Symphony No. 9 in C Major, D. 944, Movements I and II.
Jazz Orchestra directed by Mr. Drew Hansen
Voices Rising Choral Ensemble directed by Mr. Daniel Ermel. Performing:
- “Shadowland” from The Lion King and “J'entends le Moulin.”

Concert 3 at 6:30PM:

Symphony Orchestra directed by Dr. Allan Dennis. Performing:
- Shostakovich, Symphony No. 10 in e Minor, Op. 93.
- Stacy Garrop, Krakatoa, movements I and II, with soloist Callia Murray, winner of the 2024 O'Malley National Concerto Music Competition, MYAC division.
Concert Jazz Band directed by Mr. Drew Hansen
VocalPoint Choral Ensemble directed by Mr. Daniel Ermel. Performing:
- “Daemon Irrepit Callidus,” “Dolly Waits,” and “Everywhere That You Are.”

As the region’s largest youth music ensemble program, MYAC offers unparalleled orchestral, chamber, jazz, and choral music education of the highest quality. We empower nearly 1000 students annually of all ages and abilities, from over 70 communities in Illinois, Wisconsin, and beyond to study and rehearse at our home in Highwood, Illinois.
