YÁMBAWA is a vibrant music project led by master percussionist Anthony Carrillo and pianist Amy Quint-Millan, blending Afro–Puerto Rican rhythms with jazz, salsa, and contemporary Latin styles. We're creating an original album and educational tools—including a Bongo Instructional Curriculum and companion book—to honor, preserve, and share underrepresented Afro–Caribbean musical traditions.
