Support, Strength, and Solidarity: The LIAM Foundation 60-Day Challenge

At The LIAM Foundation, we are dedicated to offering vital services that support the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Illinois. These programs and services—such as peer-led support groups, gender-affirming resources and community-building events—are made possible through a combination of personal donations, fundraising efforts and grants.

However, we face an urgent need to secure funding for our operational costs to continue providing these essential services. With changes in federal policy, many programs like ours are losing access to the grants that once helped sustain our work. While we do not directly receive federal funding, the broader impact on available funding has made it even more critical for us to rely on grassroots support to keep our doors open.

The Support, Strength, and Solidarity: The LIAM Foundation 60-Day Challenge is our call to action. We are aiming to raise $20,000 in 60 days to cover our operational costs, from staffing to facility maintenance, ensuring that we can keep serving those who rely on us.
