Wiscasset Museum in the Streets is a 32 panel self guided tour around the Wiscasset Village. Each panel highlights historical events tied to the house/structure it is in front of. Those on the Museum in the Streets committee, present and past, are passionate in making history, specifically Wiscasset's, accessible to all. With your donation to our Giving Tuesday campaign you are helping us ensure up keeping of our panels, allow for growth, app growth, and the continued purchasing of maps of the panel trail. History belongs in everyone's hands and we can't thank you enough for helping us make history available for all!

Wiscasset Womfest is a festival that celebrates Wiscasset's unique connection to the marine worming industry. Once dubbed as "The Worm Capital of the World" by National Geographic, we now celebrate that 125+ year heritage every June. Going into our third year as a festival, our committee has worked hard on making our festival for the community at large. With a history museum, free carnival games, free live music, non-profits, free meals for kids, scholarships for our local high school senior, and more we are here to bring the community together. As our committee likes to say "It takes a village to celebrate a village." With your donation you are helping us not only bring our community together, but help us preserve history.
